Pelle completes China move

Graziano Pelle has joined Chinese Super League Side Shandong Luneng.

Pelle moved to Southampton in a £8million deal from Dutch side Feyenoord in 2014 and went on to score 30 goals in 81 appearances for the club.

Having entered the last year of his contract, Southampton risked missing out on a transfer fee for the 30-year-old but he has moved to China in a deal reported to be in the region of £13million.

"Southampton Football Club can confirm striker Graziano Pellè has joined Chinese side Shandong Luneng for an undisclosed fee," a statement from the club read.

"Everyone at Southampton Football Club would like to thank Graziano for his efforts during his time at St Mary’s and wish him well for the future."
