West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini wants to keep hold of Marko Arnautovic as he continues to be linked with a move away from the club.
An unnamed Chinese Super League club tabled a £35million offer for the player this week but the bid was rejected by the Hammers as it does not come near their valuation.
Arnautovic has scored eight goals in 17 appearances for the Hammers this season and, while he does not want to lose such a key player, Pellegrini has hinted that he could leave West Ham during the January transfer window.
"I will not talk about the price, I will not talk about the rumours," Pellegrini replied when asked about the player's future.
"I am absolutely sure that a lot of teams will want to have Marko Arnautovic as a player in their team because he's a top player.
"But now, in this moment, he is here at West Ham and we will see what happens in the future but for the moment he continues with us."
When asked if he would like Arnautovic to stay, he added: "I suppose every manager wants to keep those kinds of players."
