Former Fermanagh and Down boss Pete McGrath has been named as the new Louth senior football manager on a two-year term.
McGrath, who won two All-Ireland titles with Down in 1991 and 1994, replaces Colin Kelly, who left the job following Louth's All-Ireland qualifier exit to Longford on 17 June.
the 64-year-old resigned as Fermanagh manager on 18 July following player unrest, just eight days after agreeing to a fifth season in charge of the Erne County.
Fermanagh were relegated from National League Division Two in the spring, and suffered an nine-point defeat to Armagh in a Round 1B qualifier on 25 June, which followed another nine-point trouncing in the 1-20 to 1-11 Ulster SFC preliminary-round defeat to Monaghan in Clones on 20 May.
Former Louth boss Kelly was ratified as the new Westmeath football manager on Wednesday night, replacing Tom Cribbin, while Kevin McStay has been handed a two-year extension at Roscommon, with an option of a third year.
