Hull manager Mike Phelan is aware that his side face a battle to retain their top flight status.
Many expected Hull to struggle after being left with just 13 fit senior players ahead of the Premier League season, but they went on to win two of their first three matches, including the opening day defeat of champions Leicester.
However, they have managed just one win in their last ten games and Phelan knows they will have to fight for every single point if they are to avoid relegation.
"We know where we are. We know that we’re in for a battle every single week in this league and Saturday will be no different," Phelan said ahead of Saturday's game against Crystal Palace.
"We’re well aware of Crystal Palace’s strengths, but we’re also aware of our own strengths - and weaknesses - as well.
"We’ve picked up points at home of late, and hopefully we can continue to do so this weekend."
While Hull have struggled in front of goal this season, Phelan believes a lack of concentration has cost them points and he has urged his players to remain in control for the full 90 minutes.
"We know we aren’t scoring a lot of goals, as are some other teams in this division, and we have to improve on that," he said.
"Unfortunately, we only have one fit striker at our disposal. If that means we have to be stronger in other areas, then so be it.
"We do prepare well. The players understand their roles. Sometimes concentration is lacking. We need to be in control of games."
