Mauricio Pochettino is confident Tottenham will be active in the transfer market in the coming weeks.
After finishing third last season, Pochettino wasted little time in strengthening his squad ahead of a Champions League campaign by bringing in midfielder Victor Wanyama from Southampton and forward Vincent Janssen from AZ Alkmaar.
Tottenham have also been linked with a summer move for Marseille's Georges-Kevin N'Koudou and Pochettino hopes to bring in some more new faces before the start of the season.
Yes, I expect some signings in the next few weeks, we will see what happens but I expect some activity," Pochettino said.
Meanwhile, Pochettino has confirmed that Jan Vertonghen has returned to training after recovering from the ankle injury he sustained while on international duty at Euro 2016.
"Jan is back in London and training well now, he's very close to coming back," Pochettino added.
"We'll see when we arrive on Monday and start to train with the whole group (if he will be fit for the opener against Everton), but if it's not possible we have enough players to replace him."
