Mauricio Pochettino has dismissed suggestions that he could be in line to become manager of Argentina.
Pochettino signed a new two-year extension with Tottenham earlier this year, committing to the White Hart Lane club until 2021, but he has been linked with the Argentina job in the wake of Gerardo Martino's resignation.
The 44-year-old, who led Tottenham to a third-place finish in the Premier League last season, believes the speculation is normal but he insists it is not the right time for him to take on the national job.
"I think the speculation is normal because I am an Argentinian coach at a top club in England," Pochettino told reporters in Australia.
"There are a lot of rumours that appear in the media but I am happy at Tottenham and for that reason, this is not the right moment."
