Pochettino open to future PSG return

Mauricio Pochettino admits he would love the opportunity to manage Paris Saint-Germain in the future.

Pochettino has won many admirers since moving to England in 2013, guiding Southampton to their then highest Premier League finish of eighth - they went on to finish seventh the following season - before helping Tottenham challenge for the title in just his second season at the helm.

The Argentine has been linked with a move to Manchester United in the future, but he admits a return to Paris Saint-Germain is one of his dreams having spent two years at the Ligue 1 club during his playing career.

"I've always said that I would be pleased to join a great club like PSG. Come to Paris? I hope so. It is true that it would please me. It's part of my dreams. I try to watch all their matches, especially in the Champions League," Pochettino told French radio station RMC.

"The [French] championship is not very attractive because PSG is far from the other teams but I look a lot because it is a major source of players. There is talent so I have to follow Ligue 1."

With Champions League football on the horizon, Pochettino will be looking to strengthen over the summer months with Marseille striker Michy Batshuayi one of the players on his list of potential targets.

"We are looking for a striker this summer, that's clear. Michy's a young player who has a lot of talent. He is on the list of many clubs," Pochettino added.

"We have quite a few people who have given us information about him. He has good potential. We'll see. We have other players in our sights too."
