Paul Pogba admitted he feels "very good" after making his second debut for Manchester United in their 2-0 victory over Southampton at Old Trafford.
The France midfielder started for the first time since moving for a world record fee of £89m from Juventus earlier this month and enjoyed an impressive debut.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic stole the show with a brace but that wasn't stopping Pogba from enjoying his return to the Theatre of Dreams.
"It's great," he told Sky Sports. "I'm very happy for the team. I hope to carry on like this, getting better and keep on winning. I feel very good."
Ibrahimovic meanwhile stressed the importance of the team above individual contributions.
"If the team does good, the individuals do good," he also told Sky Sports. "I try to do what I'm best at, helping my team-mates, creating chances and scoring goals.
"I'm happy for the team. We are becoming better and better. It's a good start. We need to get used to winning, the mental part is important. I need to get to know everybody and the way we play. Everything is new. It's like a big parcel. We need to put the parcel together.
"Here the game is tougher [than France] and you need to work through the game. When the possibility comes you need to be focused. It doesn't matter who scored."
Utd boss Jose Mourinho was delighted with the result and felt it was thoroughly deserved.
"We were good enough to deserve the victory and be in control," he said. "We won comfortably and the result could have been bigger.
"It's a natural evolution, step by step. It's impossible to demand more from the boys. It's a great spirit with everyone working really hard.
"Zlatan Ibrahimovic is very good in the air. But he's great with his feet. I'm really happy with his performance.
"Paul Pogba was so good. He's learning how to play with us. I'm very happy. He can play even more offensively than he did today. He needs the freedom he had. I couldn't be happier with him.
"In my opinion Marouane Fellaini was superb."
