Postponed tops Juddmonte field

Postponed heads the list of runners for Wednesday's Juddmonte International at York.

Roger Varian's charge has won his last five starts and is the hot favourite to make it six on the bounce when he lines up in the Group 1 on the Knavesmire.

He is joined in the field by stablemate King Bolete, who is set to act as pacemaker for the son of Dubawi.

King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Stakes winner Highland Reel has stood his ground for Aidan O'Brien alongside stable companion Sir Isaac Newton, while Sir Michael Stoute will saddle Arab Spring and Exosphere.

Hawkbill won the Coral-Eclipse Stakes for Godolphin earlier this year and he will bid for another Group 1 prize alongside the John Gosden-trained Wings Of Desire.

The Grey Gatsby, who has finished twice in the last two renewals of the Juddmonte, has been declared by Kevin Ryan, while Mutakayyef and My Dream Boat have also stood their ground.

Almodovar and Dariyan complete the entries.

Meanwhile, Idaho faces just five rivals in the Betway Great Voltigeur Stakes.

Idaho finished third in the Investec Derby before taking second in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby and he will bid for the Group 1 prize alongside stablemates Housesofparliament and The Major General.

Across The Stars takes his place for Sir Michael Stoute with Imperial Aviator standing his ground for Roger Charlton.

The small field is completed by Harrison from Mick Channon's yard.
