Pro12: Munster make five changes


Munster director of rugby Rassie Erasmus has made five changes for Friday's Pro 12 match against Newport Gwent Dragons at Musgrave Park on Friday night.

Dave Kilcoyne, Tommy O’Donnell, Rory Scannell and Andrew Conway have all been released from the Ireland training camp ahead of the Six Nations clash against Italy on Saturday, while Darren Sweetnam will make his first appearance for the Pro 12 leaders since sustaining a knee injury during the Stephen Day’s win over Leinster.

Conway starts at full back, Jaco Taute comes into midfield alongside Scannell, while Sweetnam starts on the wing in place of Calvin Nash, who is on international duty with the Ireland U20s in Italy.

Kilcoyne replaces Peter McCabe in the front row, while O'Donnell comes in for Conor Oliver.

Replacements: Kevin O’Byrne, Peter McCabe, Brian Scott, Darren O’Shea, Conor Oliver, Abrie Griesel, Francis Saili, Dan Goggin.

Marcell Coetzee will finally make Ulster debut in Friday's Guinness Pro12 clash against Edinburgh at the Kingspan Stadium after nine months out with a cruciate ligament injury.

Stuart Olding returns at centre, Alan O'Connor comes into the second row, while Peter Nelson starts at fly-half after 15 months out with a foot injury.

Ireland players Stuart McCloskey and Tommy Bowe start on the bench after their release by Joe Schmidt ahead of the Six Nations game against Italy.
