Quevega and Big Buck's are to be inducted into the Cheltenham Hall of Fame ahead of the 2016-17 season.
Trained by Willie Mullins, Quevega won the David Nicholson Mares' Hurdle six times, becoming the only horse to have won the same race at the Cheltenham Festival in six successive years.
Her first win came in 2009 and she went on to win the OLBG Mares' Hurdle every year until her retirement in 2014 and in 2015 a bar was named in her honour at the track.
Big Buck's, meanwhile, became the first horse to win the World Hurdle four times when he galloped to victory in 2012, adding to his wins in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
Leading National Hunt owner JP McManus, who has 48 Festival winners, has also been inducted into the Hall of Fame.
"We are delighted to add Big Buck's, Quevega and J P McManus to Cheltenham's Hall of Fame," Ian Renton, regional director for Cheltenham, commented.
"The Hall of Fame recognises horses and humans that have performed to the highest level at Cheltenham and provided racing fans with many moments to cherish.
"I am pleased that we are able to remember and enjoy all those moments within the Hall of Fame."
