Ramsey to miss four weeks

Aaron Ramsey will miss up to four weeks because of a thigh injury, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has revealed.

Ramsey was forced off just 15 minutes after coming on as a substitute in Arsenal's 4-0 win over Hull in the FA Cup fifth round replay and it was feared the injury would rule him out for the remainder of the season.

Wenger, however, is hopeful that he will be ready to return by the middle of April.

"I don't think he's out for the season. The clinical signs are quite positive," Wenger told reporters.

"As a start I would say four weeks. It's a bit worse than I thought at the time. I thought it would be just a precaution and he would be available for Sunday."
