Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has dismissed speculation linking Danny Drinkwater with a move to Manchester United.
Drinkwater was one of the stars of the Foxes' title success last season and recently signed a new deal that ties him to the club until 2021.
Despite his new contract, the 26-year-old has been linked with a return to Old Trafford, four years after he left for the King Power Stadium, but Ranieri insists the midfielder is not for sale.
"I don't know but this is big speculation," Ranieri told reporters when asked about United's reported interest in the player.
"I am very, very surprised because often it happens one month before the market opens - not now. He signed a new contract and everything is normal.
"But it is good. For us it is good, for him it is good. It is good when I have players who a lot of big teams want. That means we are working very well.
"Maybe the newspapers don't have news and they write some news, that is my idea. It is okay, we don't want to sell anybody. We want to keep our players."
