Manchester City have reportedly agreed a deal to sign France left-back Benjamin Mendy from Monaco.
The BBC are reporting that the two clubs have agreed a £52m fee for Mendy - with the 23-year-old becoming City’s fourth major signing of the close season - and comes hot on the heels of signing Kyle Walker for £45m as Pep Guardiola bids to strengthen his defensive hand ahead of next season.
The agreement has yet to be officially confirmed by Man City.
Mendy started his career with Le Havre before switching to play for Marseille in 2013, where he made 100 appearances. He moved to Monaco in the summer of 2016 and was pivotal in their first Ligue 1 triumph in 17 years last season.
