Rob Kearney out of Munster clash

Leinster will be without Rob Kearney for their St Stephen’s day crunch tie with Munster at Thomond Park in the Guinness Pro12.

The 30-year-old has been ruled out following an ankle injury he picked up Leinster’s win over Northampton Saints at Franklin's Garden earlier in the month.

There is a boost for the Boys in Blue after Cian Healy and Noel Reid are declared fit to play.

Reid made his comeback for Leo Cullen’s side after making a substitute appearance against the Saints and will hope to be in contention for a starting place.

Meanwhile, Healy picked up a head injury during the same game, but later tests revealed that the injury the 29-year-old picked up is not serious as first suspected.

Dave Kearney is expected to be out for at least six weeks, while Johnny Sexton continues his rehabilitation from a hamstring injury he picked up against New Zealand while in action for Ireland.

Munster have confirmed that Monday’s game is a sell-out with an attendance of 26,200 expected at Thomond Park.
