Rob Kearney to miss Edinburgh clash

Knee injury woe for Leinster full-back

?Leinster full-back Rob Kearney is set to miss this Friday’s Guinness PRO12 trip to Edinburgh with a knee injury.

The Ireland international suffered the injury in Leinster’s 33-25 defeat to Glasgow at Scotstoun on Saturday and will be assessed this week.

Kearney, who scored one of the three tries Leinster scored in the first half, has only just returned from injury after missing Ireland’s tour to South Africa in the summer.

Head coach will be hoping to have captain Isa Nacewa and winger Fergus McFadden back for the Edinburgh game after both missed the Glasgow encounter. McFadden had been named on the wing for the clash but was ruled out after injuring a quad muscle prior to kick-off.
