Brendan Rodgers says there is still work to do when his side travel to Kazakhstan despite thrashing Astana 5-0 at Celtic in the first-leg of the Champions League at Celtic Park.
A brace from Scott Sinclair, a Yevgeny Postnikov own-goal and strikes from James Forrest and Leigh Griffiths complemented a superb Hoops' performance, but Rodgers feels his side cannot be complacent, despite the five-goal advantage.
Some of our play was outstanding. It was very complete. We now need to get the job done in the second game," Rodgers said.
"We want to go there and win the game. We're in a better place. We have to complete the second leg and finish the job off."
The Scottish champions edged Astana 12 months ago in the Champions League qualifiers thanks to a last-minute Moussa Dembele penalty and Rodgers praised his side's impressive performance a year on.
"The pleasing aspect is how the players coped with that - their calmness in possession, how we circulated the ball and how we opened up the spaces and tired Astana out," the former Liverpool manager added.
"They normally don’t press. Once we found our angles we could play through them that wee bit better.
