Rooney out of Europa League squad


Wayne Rooney has been left out of Manchester United's squad for the Europa League opener against Feyenoord.

Rooney trained with the rest of the squad on Wednesday morning but he was not included in Jose Mourinho's 20-man squad for the trip to Turkey.

Antonio Valencia, Luke Shaw and Jesse Lingard also miss out despite taking part in training, while Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Phil Jones have been left out of the squad after missing Wednesday's session at Carrington.
