?Mike Ross could join up with the Ireland squad ahead of Saturday's RBS Six Nations clash with France after coming through training with Leinster on Monday.
Ross has not featured for Leinster since picking up a hamstring injury in the European Champions Cup before Christmas but backs coach Girvan Dempsey has revealed the prop has made a full recovery.
With Ireland head coach Joe Schmidt set to issue an injury update on Tuesday, Dempsey would not be surprised to see Ross called into the squad for the trip to Paris.
"Mike Ross did a full session yesterday and has no ill-effects from that. Thankfully, he’s back in the fold. That’s up to Joe and the national coaches [whether Ross is wanted for Six Nations duty]. Anyone with Mike Ross’s calibre, you’d want him in your squad," Dempsey is quoted as saying in the Irish Examiner.
Cian Healy was omitted from the Ireland squad as he continues his recovery from knee surgery but the prop is in line to feature for Leinster against Zebre on Friday night.
“Cian Healy is good. He did some running yesterday. He didn’t fully participate in training. He came through that. He’ll be on the field today. We’re hopeful he can increase the volume of that and participate in some scrummaging," Dempsey confirmed.
Schmidt has a number of injury concerns ahead of the weekend's game with Keith Earls almost certain to miss the game due to concussion, while Johnny Sexton will be monitored after hurting his neck in the draw with Wales.
