Michael Ryan has agreed a new three-year term as Tipperary hurling manager.
Ryan won the Liam MacCarthy Cup in his first season in charge in 2016, beating Kilkenny 2-29 to 2-20 in the final at Croke Park, and took the Premier County to the semi-final in 2017, where his side lost by a point to eventual champions Galway.
Ryan was ratified as Tipp manager until 2020 at Tuesday's county board meeting in Thurles, and he will again be joined by a backroom team of coach Declan Fanning, and selectors John Madden and Conor Stakelum.
In other news, Liam Kearns has agreed to another two-year term in charge of the footballers.
The former Limerick and Laois manager led Tipp to the All-Ireland semi-final in 2016, and guided the team to promotion to Division Two of the Allianz League in 2017.
