Ryan returns, Sexton on the bench for Leinster


James Ryan is set to make his first appearance since March as skipper Jonathan Sexton is named on the bench for Leinster for tomorrow’s PRO14 final against Ulster. (LIVE on eir sport 1 from 6.30pm)

Scott Fardy makes way for Ryan who is set to see action since injuring his shoulder in the Six Nations clash with England in Twickenham in March.

The other change in the forwards sees Josh van der Flier return at openside flanker, with Will Connors dropping to the bench despite a string of fine performances for the Blues since the resumption.

Ross Byrne is named at out-half in place of Sexton who drops to the bench, with Garry Ringrose taking the captain’s armband.

Jamison Gibson-Park starts a scrum-half in place of Luke McGrath who is named among the replacements.
