Bastian Schweinsteiger believes he can benefit Manchester United if given the chance to do so.
Schweinsteiger has been training with the reserves after falling out of favour with new manager Jose Mourinho.
The midfielder, who has two years to run on his contract at Old Trafford, revealed last week that he had no desire to play for another European club and is prepared to stay and fight for his place in the United team.
Mourinho, however, has warned the Germany international that it will be 'very difficult' for him to play for the club this season but the 32-year-old has reiterated his desire to remain at Old Trafford and force his way back into the first-team.
"My absolute dream would be to play for Manchester United and to help them with their goals," Schweinsteiger said ahead of his final Germany appearance.
"I have no personal problems with Jose Mourinho. I still believe in my own ability. I could still help United if given the chance.
"I have to wait and see now how it goes in September and October and how it develops. One thing is for sure, I'm not going to stop playing football."
Schweinsteiger has been linked with a move to the United States to play in the MLS and the midfielder is open to the idea of moving across the Atlantic.
Schweinsteiger opened the door to a possible future move to ML
"The MLS transfer window is closed. So it won't happen this season. But of course, the US is an option," he said.
