Six rivals for Cue Card

Cue Card will face six rivals in Wednesday's Bibby Financial Services Punchestown Gold Cup.

Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Don Cossack had been due to take on the King George VI winner in the feature event but injury means he will miss the race, while Willie Mullins has decided to target the Boylesports Champion Chase with Vautour instead.

Cue Card has stood his ground, however, and the English raider is set to be sent off the hot favourite to add the Punchestown race to his wins in the Betfair Chase, King George and Betfred Bowl.

Although Vautour misses out, Mullins is double-handed with Djakadam and Don Poli both set to take their chance, while Noel Meade will be represented by Road To Riches.

Carlingford Lough has stood his ground for John Kiely with Ted Walsh's Foxrock and the Henry de Bromhead-trained Smashing completing the field.
