Former Ulster lock Lewis Stevenson has signed for Connacht.
The 32-year-old spent the end of last season with English Premiership side Exeter Chiefs, his second spell with the club, but has now opted to return to Ireland.
Stevenson joined up with the Connacht squad in Dublin last night prior to today's departure for a training camp in France.
"It's great to have someone of Lewis' experience joining our squad,” Connacht head coach Pat Lam said.
"Having played in the Premiership as well as the PRO12, he will bring something different and greatly boost our second row options.
"With our international locks coming in later to pre-season and other injuries affecting us in that area, it's great to have Lewis with us in France this week ready to train and play."
Stevenson came through the Ulster academy system and made 89 appearances for the province over five seasons.
He moved across the water to join the Chiefs in 2008-09 before spending two years at Harlequins.
Stevenson played with the English Premiership side in the 2008-09 season before a two-year spell with Harlequins.
The Co. Antrim native then returned to make his senior debut for his home province in 2011.
