Swansea are interested in signing Joe Allen and will keep track of developments after Euro 2016.
Allen has a year to run on his current contract at Liverpool and has yet to be offered a new deal after opting to delay negotiations until the summer.
The Wales international intends to speak to the club after the European Championships but recently admitted his future could be determined by what happens over the course of pre-season.
"I think it hinges on the pre-season plans and what exactly the club are hoping to do, everything comes into that," Allen said last month. "The acquisitions and who they are going to get in, and until all that happens then it is difficult to answer that question."
Allen joined Liverpool from Swansea in a £15million deal in 2012 and the Welsh club have made it clear they would be interested in signing the 26-year-old if he decides to leave Anfield.
“I think it has been well-documented that Joe is going to look at his future when he is finished out at Euro 2016,” Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post.
“Naturally, we are interested in good players like Joe who may be available this summer given that he has a year left on his contract.
“Obviously we will keep tabs on his situation and see what happens later in the summer.”
