Ten declared for Betfair
Ten horses remain in the running for Saturday's Betfair Chase at Haydock.
2015 Cheltenham Gold Cup winner Coneygree heads the declarations for the Grade One contest with Mark Bradstock's charge set to make his long-awaited return from injury.
The nine-year-old has only been seen once since his Gold Cup win and he is expected to be partnered at Haydock by Richard Johnson in the absence of Nico de Boinville, who picked up an injury at Cheltenham on Saturday.
"Richard has won on the horse in the past so it makes sense that we use somebody who knows him well. If he is available he would be the obvious choice to ride but we will know more about his availability later in the week," Bradstock explained.
Last year's winner Cue Card has stood his ground and he will look to bounce back from his third place in the Charlie Hall Chase at Weatherby.
Irish Cavalier triumphed in the Charlie Hall and he could reoppose on Saturday, while Silviniaco Conti is the onely representative for champion training Paul Nicholls.
Seeyouatmidnight has stood his ground for Sandy Thomson alongside the Tom George-trained God's Own with Philip Hobbs set to be represented by Menorah.
Gordon Elliott is currently double-handed with both Outlander and Roi Des Francs entered in the feature event while Vezelay completes the potential line-up.
