Carlos Tevez's move to China has been confirmed and it is believed it will make him the highest paid footballer in the world.
The former West Ham, Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus forward was with boyhood club Boca Juniors for a second stint - a move to whom he called a dream - but the lure of big money was too much for him to turn down and he has made the switch to Shanghai Shenhua.
The 32-year-old is reported to be set to earn a staggering £615,000 per week for his new club, another example of the riches on offer in the Chinese league.
Tevez's new club is managed by Gus Poyet - the Uruguayan was lured to China after being sacked by Real Betis - while among his new team-mates are Obafemi Martins and Demba Ba.
The Argentine's fellow South American, Oscar, made the switch from Chelsea to Chinese football last week and in doing so, also became one of the top earners in world football.
