Time Test is to swerve the QIPCO Irish Champion Stakes.
Roger Charlton's charged missed the Juddmonte International after failing to convince his trainer of his wellbeing and connections have now decided against sending him to Leopardstown for the September 10 feature.
"Time Test is having a break," Teddy Grimthorpe, racing manager to owner Khalid Abdullah, said.
"Roger wasn't particularly happy with him in the lead-up to the Juddmonte so he won't be going to Ireland.
"We'll just have to see how he does. Only when he's back in full work and pleasing Roger will a decision be made on his future."
Time Test is currently entered in the Champion Stakes at Ascot on October 15 but ground conditions could see him bypass the Group One.
