Tottenham set for Wembley

Club will play Champions League fixtures at national stadium

Tottenham will be playing their Champions League home games at Wembley next season.

The club have agreed a deal with the FA to use the national stadium while their new stadium is being constructed.

Tottenham, who finished third in the league table behind Leicester and Arsenal last season, will also have the option to play Premier League and cup matches in addition to any European games at Wembley during the 2017-18 campaign.

Tottenham's new £400m stadium is currently under construction on a site adjoining White Hart Lane.

The development is due for completion in time for the start of the 2018-19 season, but the club will have to vacate their long-standing home to allow the project to be completed.
