Irish internationals Jared Payne and Tommy Bowe shared five tries as Ulster destroyed Zebre 47-17 in their Pro12 encounter in Italy.
Bowe was making his first start since suffering a knee injury at the World Cup in October but he showed few signs of rustiness as he crossed the line on 14 minutes before grabbing his second try in the closing stages of the contest.
Payne meanwhile helped himself to a 12-minute hat-trick either side of the break as Ulster proved far too strong for the Italian side, the win moving them back into the playoff spots.
The visitors started strongly, Ruan Pienaar touching down after just two minutes with Paddy Jackson adding the extras, but the hosts were soon level when Guglielmo Palazzani finished after good work form the Zebre forwards.
Although Bowe's converted try re-established a seven-point margin, Carlo Canna's penalty reduced the arrears to four points.
However, a touchdown from Craig Girloy and the three-try blitz from Payne ended the game as a contest early in the second half.
Zebre substitute Ulrich Beyers earned a consolation with Canna converting again but the last word went to Ulster and Bowe who sealed a comprehensive bonus-point win.
