Un De Sceaux among Clarence entries

Un De Sceaux could head to Ascot for Saturday's Berkshire Community Foundation Clarence House Chase.

Winner of the race 12 months ago, Willie Mullins' nine-year-old made a successful return to Britain when landing the Tingle Creek Chase at Sandown last month and he is one of eight horses still engaged in the Grade One.

As expected Supreme Novices Hurdle winner Altior was withdrawn at the five-day confirmation stage, but Gary Moore declared both Sire De Grugy, winner of the Clarence House Chase in 2014, and Ar Mad.

Moore had suggested that Sire De Grugy would wait for the Game Spirit Chase at Newbury next month but the trainer will speak to the owners before making a decision.

"I need to speak to Sire's owners. I need to gallop him in the morning and it might be coming too soon after he unseated at Kempton last time," he said.

"I might give him a bit more time to come to himself, but I won't know until tomorrow."

Henry de Bromhead has the option of sending Desert Orchid Chase winner Special Tiara to the Berkshire counrse, while Paul Nicholls has declared 2015 hero Dodging Bullets.

Eastlake is a possible for Jonjo O'Neill with Philip Hobbs' Royal Regatta and Top Gamble from Kerry Lee's yard completing the entries.
