Vardy to serve three-match ban
Jamie Vardy's three-match suspension will stand, the Football Association has ruled.
Vardy was sent off in the 28th minute of Leicester's 2-2 draw at Stoke on Saturday for a challenge on Stoke winger Mame Diouf after both of his feet left the ground, but the 29-year-old argued that he was knocked off balance by Glen Johnson before attempting the tackle.
Manager Claudio Ranieri was unhappy with referee Craig Pawson's performance and had to be dragged away from the official by goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel as the teams made their way off the pitch at half-time.
Leicester appealed the red card but his wrongful dismissal claim was rejected at an Independent Regulatory Commission hearing on Tuesday.
Vardy will miss the games against Everton, West Ham and Middlesbrough.
