Venue change for Roscommon-Dublin clash

Game moved to Carrick-on-Shannon

This afternoon's Allianz Football League Division 1 clash between Roscommon and Dublin has been moved to Carrick-on-Shannon.

The game had been scheduled for Dr Hyde Park in Roscommon but, following a pitch inspection, the ground has been deemed unplayable and the match will now take place in Pairc Sean Mac Diarmada.

Throw in is scheduled for 2pm.

Dr Hyde Park has suffered significant flooding in recent times and the Rossies have been forced to move several important fixtures to other venues over the past few months.

The ground played host to the visit of Mayo in the league last week after passing a late pitch inspection, but officials have opted to err on the side of caution this time out.
