Vroum Vroum leads Mares

20 declared for the OLBG Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham

Vroum Vroum Mag leads Willie Mullins’ charge for an eighth consecutive victory in the OLBG Mares' Hurdle at Cheltenham on Tuesday.

The Rich Ricci owned mare is among 20 horses declared for the race dominated by six-time winner Quevega in recent years.

With Annie Power redirected to the Champion Hurdle, Vroum Vroum is set to go as a very short price favourite as Mullins looks to follow-up last year’s victory with Glens Melody.

The Irish-trainer has also left in Gitane Du Berlais but decided against keeping Whiteout in the race.

Flute Bowl will look to justify her supplementary fee having been added to the field at the confirmation stage by trainer Gary Moore.

Other runners include Bitofapuzzle, Keppols Queen, Polly Peachum, Aurore d'Estruval and Tara Point while the remaining withdrawals were Ballychorus, Jessber's Dream, Katie Too and Smart Talk.
