Walsh and Cadogan join Cork footballers

Alan Cadogan and Aidan Walsh have joined up with the Cork senior footballers ahead of their All-Ireland SFC qualifier against Longford.

Manager Peadar Healy has invited the pair to join up with the footballers on the back of Cork's defeat to Wexford in the All-Ireland SHC qualifier

Walsh won an All-Star with the Cork footballers in 2010 and 2012 but he has not represented the Rebels since their All-Ireland SFC quarter-final defeat to Mayo two years ago in order to focus on hurling.

Cadogan, meanwhile, has not featured for Cork's senior footballers despite winning three Munster titles with the Under-21s.
