Arsene Wenger has hailed his current attacking options as being the best he has ever had at Arsenal.
The Frenchman was able to rest Alexis Sanchez and Olivier Giroud for Saturday's trip to Southampton and still saw his side score five times with the returning Danny Welbeck grabbing a brace while Theo Walcott went one better with a hat-trick.
At the current rate, the Gunners are going to fall just short of their record Premier League era total of 87 goals in the 2004/05 season but Wenger thinks the options he has now are his best ever.
“I think certainly numbers wise and quality wise, this is the best attacking unit,” he said.
“We had never so many players who could perform and score goals – certainly never.
“Bergkamp, Henry… and Van Persie behind them. Wiltord, Pires, it was not bad. They had the quality, but we have the large number.
“How I do manage them? That is a good question and I don’t know in fact. It is about making the decision for the next game that you think is the right one.
“Sometimes you consider the problem you face, sometimes you consider the fitness of the players, the fact that for example they have played three day before, have they recovered or not.
“You just try to be honest in your decision and keep everybody on board."
