Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger believes N'Golo Kante is a key player for Chelsea in their Premier League title charge.
Chelsea are nine points clear of Tottenham with Arsenal a further point adrift after Wednesday's disappointing 2-1 defeat to Watford at the Emirates.
The Gunners travel to Stamford Bridge on Saturday knowing defeat could all but end any hope they have of winning the Premier League title and Wenger has earmarked Kante as a player to watch ahead of the lunchtime game.
"I watched their game against Liverpool and N'Golo Kante had a huge impact," Wenger told his pre-match press conference.
"It's not a coincidence that they are in the position they are and Leicester were in the position they were in last year
"[Diego] Costa and [Eden] Hazard have come back to very good form so they are very efficient when they go forward.
"And, as I just said, N'Golo Kante has had a huge impact."
After helping Leicester to the Premier League crown last season, Kante was linked with a number of clubs before signing for Chelsea in a £32million deal.
Wenger had been keen to sign the 25-year-old but admits he could not get the deal over the line.
When asked whether he tried to sign the France international, Wenger said: "Yes. When he was in France, when he was at Leicester.
"I cannot explain everything but it is obvious when you look at where he has gone. Transfers are transfers and you cannot explain absolutely everything."
