Willett joins PGA Tour

Masters winner Danny Willett has joined the PGA Tour on the back of his success at Augusta National.

Willett's three-stroke victory at Augusta has resulted in a five-year exemption on the PGA tour, taking him through to the end of the 2020-21 season.

The 28-year-old has won the Dubai Desert Classic earlier this year, while started the 2015-16 season with three top-five finishes in five US tour events to climb to ninth in the world rankings.

Although he has earned an exemption on the PGA Tour, Willett will remain part of the European Tour and will take part in the Dubai Duty Free Irish Open at the K Club next month.
