Willian commits to Blues

Willian has ended speculation about his future by signing a new four-year deal with Chelsea.

The Brazilian was named Chelsea's player of the year last season but there had been speculation that former manager Jose Mourinho would attempt to lure him to Manchester United.

Chelsea have reacted to the speculation by tying him down to a new four-year deal which will see him remain at Stamford Bridge until 2020.

"I'm very happy to sign a new contract with Chelsea. It's a dream to continue with this club and over the next four years I will try to help the team win more trophies," Willian told the club's official website.

"It's been an amazing time for me since I joined the club three years ago, I have won titles and last season I was named Chelsea Player of the Year.

"I hope to be able to stay at that level during the coming seasons and achieve more success."

Willian moved to Chelsea from Russian side Anzhi Makhachkala three years ago and has scored 19 goals in 140 appearances for the Premier League club.
