Tiger Woods is doing all he can to ensure he is fit for the Masters at Augusta National next month.
Woods has missed a number of planned events since he was forced to pull out of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic after of the second round due to a back spasm.
The former world number one has only played seven competitive rounds since making his comeback from a 15-month absence and his ongoing struggles has once again raised concerns about his future in the game.
A four-time winner of the Masters, Woods is hoping to return to fitness in time for the start of the tournament on April 6.
When asked whether he will be in the field at the Masters, Woods told Good Morning America: "God, I hope so.
"I'm trying. I'm trying everything extra to be able to get back and play.
"I love that event. It's meant so much to me in my life. It was the first major that I ever played, back in 1995.
"It has so much history and meaning to me, I'd love to get back.
"I need to get back physically. I know that the mind is sharp, I just need to get the body willing to do it."
