Tiger Woods revealed that he was 'touched' by a gesture that saw a number of players wear his trademark red and black for the final round of the WGC-Workday Championship in Florida on Sunday.
The gesture came as the 15-time major winner was moved to a second hospital in Los Angeles to continue his recovery from the injuries he suffered in a serious car crash last Monday.
Saying he was in 'good spirits' as his rehabilitation continues, Woods added on Twitter: "It is hard to explain how touching today was when I turned on the tv and saw all the red shirts.
“To every golfer and every fan, you are truly helping me get through this tough time.”
No date has been set for his return to action as yet.
