Young could be heading to Inter Milan

Manchester United captain Ashley Young is set to join Inter Milan when his contract expires at the end of the season.

The 34-year-old former Aston Villa winger could leave before the end of January if United sanction the move.

However, with injuries to Harry Maguire and Eric Bailly and concerns over Phil Jones, it is expected that he will stay at Old Trafford until the end of the season.

There is even the possibility that the club will offer him a new one-year deal to keep him on the books while they rebuild the squad.

Young has played 261 times for the club since joining from Villa in 20111.

During that time he has won Premier League, FA Cup, League Cup and Europa League champions’ medals.
